On March 8th my dad, Gilberto Cardenas had a severe stroke damaging the right side of his brain. He had to undergo a brain surgery to place a catheter in his brain to release the blood and pressure from his brain to save his life. The surgery was successful however, my dad has not woken up and has not been able to follow the doctor's commands. My stepmom, Alili Cardenas is currently not able to work as she is staying by my dad's side through this horrific event. We have no idea how long my dad will be in this condition or when he will be released from the NCCU. I set up this GoFundMe in hopes we could get some donations to help them during this difficult time. We understand times are hard for everyone so if you are not able to donate, please pray for my dad's recovery and our family. We appreciate all the support.

El 8 de marzo, mi papá, Gilberto Cárdenas, sufrió un derrame cerebral severo que le dañó el hemisferio derecho del cerebro.
