Gilbert Solis Heart sugery

Gilbert Solis was an employee Florence ISD for many years.  He started in 1990, and he was very active in making sure all events were set up, work orders complete and ensuring schools were secure each night. He was active with little league softball. In 2014-2015 Gilbert started slowing down, went to the Doctor and found out he had a heart problem.

Before they would clear him for heart surgery, he had to have extensive dental work done and heal.

With this process he ran out of leave, insurance and Family Medical Leave job protection.

At this time Gilbert has completed heart surgery and is doing well but the medical bills are very large. He should be out of hospital by Thanksgiving, but we are hoping sooner.
