GIGINO RESTAURANTS EMPLOYEE RELIEF FUND

From our opening of Gigino Trattoria in Tribeca in 1994 and expansion to Gigino at Wagner Park in 1999, we’ve been so very fortunate to be a part of the downtown New York neighborhoods.   We reopened our doors just 1 week after both  9/11 and Hurricane Sandy and  our employees good hearts and passion have been a constant throughout the years.   You recognize some of them as you walk through our door, and many you don’t because they are busy scrapping plates, prepping the food, watching over the pasta, stocking the pantry & sweeping up the crumbs late at night. 

Monday, March 16th was the last night for many of our staff due to the shutdown of our dining room.  Our Wagner Park location is closed and while we are continuing to offer our delivery service from our Greenwich Street location, we’ve had to reduce the remainder of the staff as we support safe distancing. 

One of the things we miss the most is our family meal, where on a daily basis, our team gathers at our table and shares a meal.  Most are at home now with their families and we want them to be able to put food on their table.

In this moment of uncertainty, when we don’t know when  we’ll all be back together again, we humbly  ask you to help our staff.

100% of all funds will be distributed to our courageous staff.
