Written by Cherise Williams for Alexis Hummer (Fallow) and Kali Fallow
In February, we lost Lori very suddenly and unexpectedly. Lori was a wonderful mother, grandmother, a long-time escrow officer at Placer Title Co, and a great friend. She always had a smile on her face and never had a bad thing to say about anyone or anything. She was always a joy to be around. Most people remember her laugh and kindness. Her daughters, grandson, sisters, parents, and friends miss her terribly.
We have had many requests for gifts to be sent to the family so we are setting this page up for you to express your support during this difficult time. Please help with a gift or a unique story for the family.
Thank you,
Cherise Williams, friend and co-worker

LORI FALLOW REMEMBRANCE
By Pam McCarthy
Dave Tormey and I hired Lori Alexander at Placer Title in 1984. Lori was just out of college and along with her boyfriend, Jeff Fallow, moved to Truckee to see what it was like. They spent the summer living in a teepee in the Tahoe Donner Alder Creek Campground. Toward the end of the summer Lori awoke to find one of her socks frozen to the wall of the teepee. She realized right away that she needed to look for a job and get a place to live!
Dave and I interviewed her late one afternoon. She was young, adorable, very bright and had a great sense of humor. What more is there to ask for?! We said that we would get back to her. As she walked out Dave asked me what I thought of her and I said she would be a perfect addition to our small office in Tahoe City. He agreed and told me to go out quickly and find her! I ran out and found Lori getting into her old Volkswagen Bug -which was full of all of their food in boxes because (of course) they could not leave food in the teepee. I waved her down saying "Wait, we like you and want to hire you!" She laughed and hugged me tightly and that was the beginning of a lifelong friendship.
Everyone loved Lori –her customers always returned to her specifically and all who knew her will miss her terribly.
Love and prayers to you Lori – and to your family and friends who will remember you always as a wonderful person.
