Gifts for Nursing Homes

The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted every person in some way. It has had a huge impact of the people who live in nursing homes. They have spent the past 9 months seeing their loved ones through windows, having absolutely no contact with any of them. As we approach the holidays, they won't be able to celebrate with their loved ones, they will be celebrating the holidays inside without their families. The holidays are a time when we are supposed to be with our families, and while most of us won't we able to do that, we will at least be able to celebrate with at least of few of our loved ones. 
I have decided that I want to do something special for the residents in a local nursing home to make them feel special during the holidays this year. I have decided to raise money to buy gifts for the residents in the nursing home. I am asking for donations to help with the cost of purchasing these gifts. I know that this year has been financially difficult for many people, so I understand if you do not have the money to donate. Any amount is helpful and greatly appreciated. I will be collecting money through December 9, 2020.
