Gift Of Life/Bishop-Designate Harris

Our beloved Pastor, Bishop-Designate J. Kevin Harris, of the Victory Tabernacle Baptist Church, located in the Church Hill community of Richmond, VA has been a dialysis patient for the past 4 1/2 years. During June of 2012 he was ministering at a church in Boston, MA where he shared his testimony with the congregation and solicited their prayers that a door be open for him to receive a kidney transplant. During the service a lady in the audience (Mrs. Debbie Dozier) stated to her husband that she wanted to donate a kidney to this man whom she had never met before. During the last several months, Mrs. Dozier has undergone testing and it has been determined that she is a matching donor for Pastor Harris. Her blood type and tissue type matches perfectly (which is a miracle). On June 26th, Mrs. Dozier and her daughter will travel to Richmond for pre-testing, and on July 7th, she will return as she is scheduled to donate her kidney to Pastor Harris on July 10th at Henrico Doctors Hospital. Mrs. Dozier must be accompanied when she travels to Richmond and especially during the time of tranplant; therefore, her daughter has agreed to travel with her during each visit. Although this is a precious gift of life, there are many expenses involved where we need your support. Mrs. Dozier must make at least 3 visits to Richmond, which means she has to be flown here along with her daughter, and each visit will require hotel accommodations and food allotments. During the time of transplant she will be here for a minimum of 2 weeks, and for the other two visits, she will be here for a minimum of 3 days. Your donation is imperative.
