Gift of Life Adventure -Driving for Organ Donation

The Video above is representative of the work I do with speaking to communities during my drive.

Hi, I need your help to raise money for a cause I have made my own for the past 5 years ever since I donated my Kidney to my neurosurgeon brother. It has become my mission to spread awareness about organ donation with myth busting information and inspire others to willingly donate organs to help save the lives of their loved ones and friends. I help deal with the FEAR that surrounds Live organ donation. I am driving the world to spread the word.

I recently participated in the WORLD TRANSPLANT GAMES  held in August this year in the UK  representing India in the 100m sprint and the Ball throw events. I am happy to announce that, both, my brother and I won a Gold medal each in our respective events.

On Sept 2nd I Started the 5th edition of my drive around the world to speak to groups, schools, colleges, clubs and people about the divine gift of life - Organ Donation.  I will be circumnavigating North and South America covering over 55000kms over a 150 day period across 17 nations in my own car. I have already completed 19000 miles around Canada and USA speaking to close to 28000 people in over 50 talks. The next leg of this drive begins Dec 26th towards Central and South America.

I have had a lot of help from generous brands and people like you and I seek your help again to make the Gift of Life Adventure's 5th Edition happen. I assure you that with your support and generosity, I will pay it forward and be there for those that need my help with fighting for their right to live.

I have a funding Goal of $40000 which is now down from $70000.   Thanks to generous contributions from friends and family like you. I now need funds to fund the fuel/food/accommodation sometimes and vehicle maintenance .  My monthly goals are about $5000/month for next 5 months.

For the past 4 years i have driven across 43 countries for over 450 days driving about 110000kms in my quest to bring attention to a life giving gesture that more should be making. Lack of Information creates fear and with my self as an example, I want to tell my story and put to rest all fears and inspire people to willingly donate organs. I want to show them that life post a kidney transplant can not just be normal but also extra ordinary. Show them what it is like to live not just one life but two.  During my drives I have spoken over 300 times  to over 74000 people in gatherings and organized talks and the mission is on.

The other part of my mission is to make the painful bureaucratic and legal system of India more responsive to patients and donors. I have filed a few petitions in the Karnataka High courts in India to ensure patients get the approvals to get a smooth transplant process and as a result create case laws for others to cite if they need to for their own cases. I use the money raised to also fight these court battles. We have prevailed in the courts so far via the Gift of life Adventure Foundation and non profit trust I set up in India. I am an American citizen now living in India and have focused my efforts here as this nation has a lot to de-clutter for the benefits of organ donation to be seen and felt. Part of the money raised will also go towards

1. Funding the law suits
2. To Carbon Neutralize the road Journey
