Dear friends,

As Christmas approaches, I wanted to share a little bit about what I’m hoping to do for my students this year. Being a third-grade teacher means I get to witness so many moments of joy, but there’s something truly special about the excitement of the holiday season. This year, I’d love to give each of my kids a book buddy from Kohl’s — a combination of a book to spark their love of reading and a soft stuffed animal to make the experience even more magical.

Each book buddy costs $9.54, and I’m hoping to find support to gift one to each of my 23 students. These gifts aren’t just fun; they’re a way to create warm, lasting memories and encourage a lifelong connection to reading.
