Gianna's healthy heart

Gianna is a sweet 5 year old girl, who was very shockingly recently diagnosed with dilated cardiomyopathy in February when Maria, her mother noticed she was experiencing labored breathing and an accelerated heartbeat. Gianna has since been hospitalized twice and is currently admitted.  Doctors have introduced Bpap, to help her breathe without placing too much stress on her little heart but it has since complicated and the next step would be a ventricular assist device.  (VAD) is a mechanical pump that's used to support heart function and blood flow in people who have weakened hearts. The device takes blood from a lower chamber of the heart and helps pump it to the body and vital organs, just as a healthy heart would. This is often a bridge to transplant surgery. 
As a parent, I cannot imagine the heartache, the desperation or confusion that accompanies these kind of circumstances. Her father, Gregory has lost many workdays and many of the prescriptions are not covered. 
Your donations will go toward transportation, medical expenses, food and other outstanding bills that may be incurred as a result of loss workdays.
