Giancarlos's Cancer Support

Our dear friend, Giancarlos H. who is 26 years old is an one of a kind individual who is currently battling a surprisingly brief battle with cancer. He was diagnosed with Hodgekins Lymphoma and within a month, it has already surpassed Stage 4 spreading to his bones.

We are raising funds to help offset medical costs and help care for his two year old son, along with other expenses that may arise.

Giancarlos is one selfless human, the hardest working man I know; he worked tremendously long hours to support his family and made sure their needs were met before his. He was the only person in his household that produced a source of income because his fiancé took care of the baby during the day; Now, it is nearly impossible for her to start working because she runs back and forth from the house to the hospital and to various doctor appointments. She ensures Giancarlos gets the care and treatment that he needs in order to be there to see his son Tristan grow up. When he was diagnosed, he was left with a dilemma – a choice between focusing only on his life/death situation or the financial future of his family. After being diagnosed, he fought through the pain and went to work where he collapsed. He realized that his body was too weak and he needed to focus on receiving medical attention. Since his diagnosis a short time ago, he started chemotherapy, but his type of cancer is very aggressive and it has since spread rapidly. He is currently in and out of the hospital dealing with all of the symptoms of cancer and all of the side effects related to the medicine he is taking.
