Hi, my name is Giahna “Gi-Gi” Brown! I am the proud daughter of Robyn Germain and Gregory Brown and I have some exciting news! This year, I, along with 12 other girls have the awesome privilege to participate in the Woman in Community Action (WICA) Debutante program. On March 24, 2018, I will make my debut! WICA is a community-service organization, located in Prince William County, Virginia. The goal of WICA is to foster social and cultural awareness, to develop leadership skills and promote community service along with academic excellence.
About me?
As a graduating senior at Woodbridge High School (WHS), and a dually enrolled student at Northern Virginia Community College, I will graduate this coming June with 12-college credits. I am a member of the Math Honor’s Society and a rising member of the Italian Honor’s Society. I supervise a group of tutors that provide at-risk students assistance in both Math and Reading. I also provide mentorship through the Senior Freshman Buddy Program. In addition to academics, I play safety on WHS Powder Puff team. In my free time, I thoroughly enjoy cooking lavish meals for my family and friends, reading and taking selfies. Growing up, I always had a sensitive spot for those in need. During the holidays, I partnered with a local book-club for girls and prepared hat and glove sets for children in the Prince William County School district; and gifted over 50 toys to a local church that work with underprivileged children/families. I am an active member of Victory Christian Ministries International in Woodbridge, VA where I serve on the praise team, dance team and in the bookstore.

As you can see, I am very active and have high aspirations to attend college after graduating high school to continue my studies in Forensic Science/Criminology. There are several scholarship donations levels, however, all contributions are welcomed!
