GMHS Produces Phantom of the Opera

The Theatre Department of General McLane High School is extraordinarily pleased to be presenting Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera, Nov. 20-23.  Only 17 high schools in the US have been granted rights for this show this year so it is a very big honor.  Production costs are huge and we are looking to many different sources to fund the production as our theatre department is self-sustaining.  Our school district generously provided $2500 toward securing the rights for the show but we are expected to secure all other costs through ticket saies and fund raising.  Costuming this show alone is budgeted at $9500! And that does not even begin to count the set builds!  So we are turning to social media and GoFund Me as an additional source.  Thank you for your generosity and as they say in the theatre...
