Those of you who know our dad know what a amazing guy he is even after all of his struggles when he was young. He found his passion in driving truck and ran with it. Eventually buying his own truck and trailer. In august of 2020 dad finally went to the doctor after months of being in pain and trying to hide it from all of us because he didn’t want us to worry. I will forever remember the day I got the call that dad had cancer. After several doctors visits they started his chemo treatments. Even when he felt like complete crap and the pain he was in, he still continued to try to put on a smile for all of us. Dad was in and out of the hospital due to infections which in turn put a stop to his chemo treatments. His last hospital stay they did another scan and that’s when we got the news dad was now stage 4. He came home and continued to deteriorate rapidly. This week we had to make one of the hardest decisions of our life. We had to put our dad on hospice. As many of you know when you work for yourself you have to pay the big bucks for insurance. Dad chose not to because well let’s all be honest. Dad hated the doctor and it had been several years since he had gone prior to the cancer. Dad did what he felt he needed to do and took out a loan to cover medical bills as much as possible. So if anyone is able to donate we will forever be grateful. The money will be going to memorial costs and to pay off the loan he had to take out against the semi. I am planning to help as much as I can.
