Ghea’s baby surgery

Dear friends, 

Some of you might know Ghea (IBMS 2002). She gave birth to a baby boy last Saturday (25 May 2019). 

At the moment, this baby boy is under intensive care as he has issue with his digestion system.

The pediatrician mentioned this due to incomplete growth of his small intestine which make him unable to digest well, therefore all milk intakes always thrown up. He hasn’t been drinking any milk for days. 

There is  bloating of his small stomach as well and it is already causing bleeding in the intestine shown by the blood spots on the diapers.

The pediatrician decided to proceed with a surgery to take out the decay part of the intestine. However,  this little one needs to move to a different hospital as the current hospital doesn’t have the required infant facility. 

The estimated cost is IDR 150million (approx EUR 10,000) in which half of the amount needs to be paid as deposit otherwise the surgery will not proceed. 
Unfortunately, the insurance doesn’t cover the cost.

If you know Ghea, she is one of the kindest and most sincere person. She also the strongest person who always smiles no matter how hard her circumstances is. 

And from one parent to another, I know how heart-breaking it is to see a helpless newborn being ill.

I want to help Ghea to get her newborn the surgery that he needs and to let Ghea knows that she is not alone.
