Breast Density Matters UK Education Effort

In 2016, following my breast cancer diagnosis, Breast Density Matters UK
was formed.

In France, I received a 'clear' mammogram but supplemental ultrasound on dense
tissue detected an 8mm invasive tumour.  I received minimal treatment.

Breast Density Matters UK is a voluntary effort with a mission to educate both health
professionals and patients on the importance of breast density;  promoting informed
conversations and decisions.  It is a health initiative supported by international
imaging experts, scientists and organizations.

Ultimately, the aim to find cancers at the earliest possible stage for women with
dense breasts.

Until now, BDM UK work has been self-funded, apart from when patient bursaries
are offered to attend events.   Funding would help enormously to help to spread the
word to a wider audience.  Potentially a life-saving piece of information, in some
cases saving breasts, harsh treatments and lives.  #FindItEarly.

All your donations would be greatly appreciated to help raise awareness
and progress our work.

With best wishes,
