Hope for Marley

Donation protected
UPDATE: The Doctors confirmed that Marley Bergon has been diagnosed with High Risk cancer of Neuroblastoma. She will be attending Chemo and radiation, very aggressively, for at least a year.  Her walking has weakened severely so she has been moved to huntsman cancer of institute and is receiving radiation therapy hoping to restore some ability by the end of the week but she is fighting through this whole thing! She is such a strong little girl and she is staying relatively positive happy and such a darling girl with a beautiful personality. We so appreciate the help we have received through donations thus far!! We cant thank you enough for the support and we will continue to update when we have more answers!

Calling for help! This is Marley Bergon, she is my "just turned 2 year old" niece, now suffering from a tumor that has infused in her spinal cord and around her liver!  Marley started complaining of some back pain, with visible signs of a small bump on her back about a month ago.  Her mom (Vanessa) and dad (spencer) took her to their pediatrician for some answers to make sure nothing serious was going on.  With reassurance from the doctor and a dose of antibiotics just to be safe, they left thinking it was nothing serious, only to return a month later.  On Sunday March 11th, 2018 Marley had started walking funny and complaining of pain in her back again.  Marley was taken back to the Doctors office, where they told her she needed to be rushed to Dixie Regional Hospital, in St George Utah for further testing.  Once there, they did an MRI that showed what appeared to be a tumor growing on her spine and Marley was immediately flown by life flight, to Primary Children's Hospital, in Salt Lake City, Utah to be seen by pediatric specialists.  Upon her arrival, they did some immediate testing and a  CT scan to determine how severe the tumor actually was.  Due to how rapid and severe the tumor had spread, they needed to admit her for more testing which consisted of a biopsy of the tumor and testing of her bone marrow to see if the tumor has spread.  The Doctors decided with how rapidly this had progressed, Chemotherapy would be the best option, treating it aggressively, in hopes of decreasing the tumor and pulling it away from her spinal cord.  The hope at this point is to save her mobility  and prevent it from spreading any further.  Right now, we are still waiting on results from her biopsy to see how far the tumor has actually spread.  As you can imagine, the medical expenses are astronomical and the last thing we want this family to worry about, is how they are going to pay for her care.  We are reaching out and asking for any help that can be given to this sweet girl and her family during this time.  Donations are so appreciated, even if you cant donate, please take a second to share this GoFundMe with your family and friends to get this Angel the help she needs as she has a long road ahead of her.  Any prayers, happy thoughts and vibes, whatever your belief, please please send them her way so we can get this sweet girl back to her older brother and sister who are awaiting her return.
