<div><strong><em>Pepper's procedure to treat and attempt to manage her sexual health condition has been completed successfully.</em></strong><em> It was a simple procedure but, due to its nature, required Pepper to be placed under anesthesia.</em>

<div><strong><em>Dr. Werner and the team at MAZE in Purchase, New York performed the procedure, </em></strong><em>with Dr. Werner remarking that the combination of Pepper's tight vaginal muscles, and her naturally small anatomy, likely </em><strong><em>would have made it impossible, without this procedure, to attempt penetration of any kind. Ever.</em></strong>

<div>In 2019, <strong><em>Aaron (</em></strong><a href="https://www.instagram.com/oh_hey_canada" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><strong><em>Instagram</em></strong></a><strong><em>)</em></strong> wanted to make a film exploring <strong>his own personal journey with Erectile Dysfunction</strong>, because he realized that he'd never seen anything of substance in public media about ED unless it was a commercial, or it was being made fun of. So he made a short documentary called "Let's Talk About It." <strong>Having suffered from ED for twenty years, since the age of 17</strong>, he wanted to make a film to get people talking about it.

<div>He wanted to help <strong>take some of the stigma away</strong> from having ED, and also show other men who were suffering from it <strong>that they weren't alone</strong>.

<div>That film was met with <strong>overwhelmingly positive feedback</strong> from filmmakers, sexual health professionals, and <strong>the academic community. </strong>It was introduced <strong>into the curriculum at the University of Florida</strong> in 2021, where <strong>Aaron visited class once a semester, for three years, </strong>to speak to ~200 undergrads about the Psychology of Human Sexuality, specifically pertaining to Erectile Dysfunction.

<div>It was also met with a strong desire <strong>for</strong> <strong>even more information</strong>, not just about Erectile Dysfunction, but <strong>Male and Female Sexual Dysfunction of all types</strong>. And that's what we're doing with <strong>this project</strong>.

<div>We're making "Sexual Dysfunction: A Love Story" because it tells the <strong>intimately personal stories</strong> of two young individuals:

<li>Pepper, <strong>Aaron's wife</strong>, suffering from a condition commonly called Primary Vaginismus, which presents as an involuntary contraction of the muscles in the vaginal walls that <strong>makes penetration of any kind (sexual, hygienic, gynecological) nearly -if not entirely- impossible</strong>. <strong>And <em>extremely</em> painful.</strong>
