Hello, I'm Kendall Bradford, a senior at the University of Arizona studying Biology with a Biomedical Focus. I am fortunate to be a member of Global Medical Brigades, a club focused on students empowering communities and communities empowering students. Global Medical Brigades aims to empower under-resourced communities to resolve global health and economic disparities and inspire all involved to collaboratively work towards an equal world.
As a member, I have been given the opportunity to travel to Ghana, Africa this summer to volunteer as a Pre-Med Student. During a Medical Brigade, participants have the ability to take vitals and patient history in triage, shadow licensed doctors in medical consultations, and assist in a pharmacy under the direction of licensed pharmacists. My only obstacle is raising the money needed to participate. As a full-time student with a rigorous course load and an internship, I am unable to do this on my own. Therefore, I am graciously asking for donations to make this life changing experience possible. I am certain the exposure to this event will enhance my future endeavors in the medical field. I need to raise a minimum of $2,000 to cover all travel expenses. Any donation will be greatly appreciated.
