Port Augusta Mission 2020

Following the experience of mission in Port Augusta in 2013/14, 2015/16 and 2017/18, there is a great benefit in the young people coming from different churches and places meeting with their sisters and brothers from an indigenous background, and fostering a great sense of unity, mission partnership and ministry of reconciliation in Jesus Christ. In returning for 2020, we hope to have a greater focus on the renewal and revival of worship and life of young people to bring real hope to our community. We will be going back January 2020, (Monday 1st Jan 2020 to Tuesday 14th Jan 2020) and the team grouped from OneHeart Sydney, Sydney Presbytery, Manly UC, Alstonville UC, and Mentor Crew from Korea will lead worship, bible studies, activities and evangelism during the mission. Through the mission trip, we are aiming to- 

1. Deepen our mission partnership with AEF for effective mission and evangelism in Aboriginal community and next generation by running worship and youth program at the Convention in Port Augusta.

2. Encourage Indigenous young people to have a vision of renewal for their future by sharing the gospel and stories with other Christian sisters and brothers in OneHeart mission team.

3. Develop mission network and strategy for continuing local mission with Aboriginal people.
