Saquoia getting an insulin pump

Donation protected
Most of those who will see this already know that I am type one diabetic and I have been for almost 17 years. I started my diabetic journey taking syringe needles and after two years was moved to an insulin pump in order to better maintain my glucose levels.

An insulin pump is a wonderful piece of technology that helps me live a "normal" life and allows me to take one needle every 3-4 days instead of 10+ a day. We all know how fast technology develops and improves which is one reason I am looking to upgrade. My pump is close to 8 years old, it is recommended that you upgrade every five years. During the 8 years my pump has had a few bumps and falls resulting in multiple cracks. Two of the cracks are quite deep - one next to the screen and the other along the battery slot. This puts me at risk of having the pump fail, leaving me struggling to find the proper dosages of insulin via syringes again.

If you can help me reach my goal and purchase a new insulin pump I will be forever grateful. Thank you for taking the time to read, share and/or donate!!
