Stephanie Cox Foundation

　

Stephanie Cox is a beautiful member of our community. She is the wife of Pat, the mother of Patrick (a Jr. at PRHS), Aly (an 8th grader at PRMS) and Shannon (a 6th grader at Eden Hall Upper Elementary). Stephanie is known by many as she is often filling in at Richland’s Cafeteria or at Eden Hall’s front office. Stephanie has also spent many years coaching cheerleading for The Youth Football League.

On September 9th Stephanie suffered a stroke at home that subsequently lead to a traumatic brain injury. After undergoing emergency brain surgery, Steph spent many days in the Neurotrauma ICU at UPMC Presbyterian University Hospital. Because of her strong will she was moved to Mercy Hospital’s Neuro Rehabilitation Unit. Stephanie continues to make great strides, however this is a marathon and her rehabilitation is expected to take several months.

The Cox family does have medical insurance, however there will be a significant differential considering the additional surgeries and many months of rehabilitation. Every donation given will go directly to Stephanie’s medical expenses. Your donations and support mean so much.
