Tara's Medical Fund

Tara is a wife and a mother of three beautiful daughters. She has an extraordinary spirit that touches and inspires those around her. She is loved by everyone who has had the blessing of meeting her.
Tara has been recently diagnosed with Leiomyosarcoma, a rare, smooth muscle cancer. Leiomyosarcomas can be very unpredictable, remaining dormant for periods of time and recurring again. It is a resistant cancer, meaning generally not very responsive to chemotherapy or radiation. The best outcomes occur when it can be removed surgically. 
It has presented in three different areas of Tara's body. She has undergone two surgeries already this year, one which took an entire lobe of her lung. She is facing yet another surgery after she completes a strong round of chemotherapy. 
Tara has dedicated her life to helping others now it's her turn.
