<div>On October 3, 2025 we were supposed to be celebrating our son’s Peyton’s 8th birthday. We were extremely excited to celebrate with him.

</div>

<div>However, that day took a turn for the worse. I received a text message around 10:30am that morning that my husband Ryan was having pains in his shoulder and thought he moved something the wrong way at work. Approximately 2 hours later he informed me he was getting really bad pains in his ribs. Shortly after he called me stating he was leaving work early due to the pain and was going to wait for Peyton to get done school. I can tell he was almost out of breath in between words as speaking to me. Seconds later he informed me while he was driving that he was getting very dizzy and needed to pull over. Unfortunately he wasn’t able to pull over in time and passed out behind the wheel. He ran off the road into bushes, fencing, a parked car, a side of a house and ended up in the opposite lane driving into oncoming traffic then eventually jumped the curb into a Wawas parking lot where he was near. At the time I am hearing him crashing the entire time while being on the phone with him since I was synced up to the speakers in his truck and he never hung up the phone. It was by far the worse thing you can ever experience hearing. They preformed CPR at the scene and transported him to Capital Health Hospital in Trenton, NJ. When arriving to the hospital he wasn’t remaining stable and moved him into the trauma care unit. At that time they discovered he was bleeding internally and his chest cavity was completely filled with blood. He also had a collapsed lung. He went into a 4 hour emergency surgery so they can find where the internal bleeding was coming. Then they finally realized the bleeding was coming from one of his main arteries to his heart that ruptured. They had to give two double blood transfusions as well as break 3 ribs to get to the area they needed to get to.

<div>He has been in Trauma ICU since Friday October 3rd and has a long road ahead of him.

<div>Peyton doesn’t quite understand everything fully. He is consistently asking me “Why did Daddy have to get dizzy on my birthday and crash his truck, I loved that truck”.

</div>

<div>Our family has went from 3 incomes to barely 1. Our son has celiac disease so groceries are much more expensive especially when the entire house needs to remain gluten free to risk any sort of contamination.

</div>

<div>Any help during this extremely rough time would be greatly appreciated.
