What Is Our Cause?
We would like to bring together our community in a joint effort to provide relief for those greatly affected by Hurricane Harvey and the floods that followed in the Greater Houston area. We would like to call on the national community to help raise funds for the various relief efforts.
How Will We Help?
Through American Red Cross and the United Way of Greater Houston, we will send food, water, and basic necessities to those families whose lives have been completely destroyed by Hurricane Harvey and the floods that followed.
Why Us?
We are the Alliance of Youth Leaders in the United States (AYLUS), with local branches in Cypress, Fort Bend, Houston, Pearland, Sugar Land, of the Greater Houston Area.
Some of our students are still trapped in their homes. Others are helping the local relief efforts in the Greater Houston area. Thus, we feel that it is our responsibility to partake in the recovery effort from the great storm.
The AYLUS local branches outside the Greater Houston area are helping the relief efforts through fund drives to help those whose homes have been flooded.
AYLUS is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit volunteer organization that is dedicated to helping the community through volunteer events and fundraising. For more information about our organization; http://aylus.org.
