Hey everyone!
This year, Dartmouth Christian Union has started a community service team! Our first project is to support families through the Concord Salvation Army Star Tree. For anyone who doesn't know, this program allows financially comfortable individuals to provide gifts (both essentials and luxuries) for families in need during the Christmas/holiday season.
The number of families that we support is dependent upon how much money we raise. If we reach our $1500 dollar goal, we should be able to support two families. More would be even better!
Furthermore, there is an incentive to participate. You can find this information on our Facebook page!
Although this fundraiser is being run through Christian Union, the Salvation Army's Star Tree does not discriminate towards families on the basis of religion or beliefs. Therefore, we encourage EVERYONE to donate! Your contribution is both meainingful and extremely important.
