My name is Emily Turner. For the past 10 years I have over come a number of obsticals. I had a pacemaker placed when I was 20 years old and have had complications ever since. I am now 30 and inrolled in UT Health Science Center Nursing program. I have supported myself by waiting tables and have done so since I was 19. I have been truely blessed to have wonderful thoughts and prayers from friends and family. I recently was diagnosed with a blood clot in my superior vena cava due to my pacemaker. I am now on blood thinners and still having severe symptoms making it very difficult to work and come up with the money needed for medical bills, weekly doctors visits and lab tests. I am not one to ask for help, however my dream of becoming a nurse to help others that have been in my situation may come to a an end due to medical bills and at home finances I am unable to take care of at the moment. I asked my best friend to set up this account for me because I have no other option but to ask for any donations anyone would be willing to provide for medical cost and living expensises as I work on getting back on my feet. Every little bit helps and I promise to one day pay it forward as those have done so for me.
