Tod Liang's Speedy Recovery Fund

This website was created in honor of our brother, Tod Liang. We are a group of friends that met 15 years ago during our Junior High School years back in 1997. Our brother is only 29 years old, a respectful man with a humble spirit and also a rising star in the poker world. On December 3, 2013, he won first place at the World Series of Poker Circuit Ring at Harrah's Resort in Atlantic City. His ultimate dream is to win the main event in Las Vegas, travel the world with his fiance then marry her in an intimate ceremony. During his journey, he became terminally ill and couldn't continue pursuing his dream. Tod was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) caused by FLT3+ gene mutation. He fought hard for many months with intense chemotherapy treatments and bone marrow stem cell transplant, but his leukemia relapsed in less than 5 months.

Tod was admitted back into the hospital the day after he won his last tournament. Him and his fiance planned to get married on January 3, 2014, sadly due to complications from his disease the ceremony has been postponed. He is now undergoing treatments in the Medical Intensive Care Unit at a New York City hospital.

All of us would like for him to achieve a speedy recovery as soon as possible. He would love to see all of your faces but his access to visitors has been limited and he's currently in unconscious sedation.
