Jim Herkel Liver Transplant Support

We are trying to raise money to provide means to pay for COBRA insurance for Jim Herkel. He is out of work due to his continued health complications caused by NASH disease.  NASH is a liver disease that damaged Jim's liver to the point of needing a transplant. Jim's oldest son welcomed his first child this year, and his youngest is only eleven. This should be a time in life that is full of joy and anticipation for the future. But these days are full of waiting for a call and worrying about how to make ends meet in the mean time. He and his dedicated wife, Shelley, are living on half their income with tripled medical insurance preimums. Not to mention, all of the added medical bills. It is crucial that they keep this insurance because of the coverage amount. They will have to pay only 10% after meeting the deductible. The transplant,  medications & procedures leading up to and after care, is expected to cost nearly $2.5 million dollars. Please consider helping this family financially in any way that you can.
