Daniel Roebuck has spent 3 decades building an impressive resume chuck full of blockbuster films (THE FUGITIVE), kids movies (AGENT CODY BANKS), horror movies (HALLOWEEN 2) and television series (MATLOCK, LOST).
Now Daniel is embarking on a new journey, one that is close to his heart. He's making his feature film directorial debut, GETTING GRACE, in his hometown of Bethlehem, PA (and the surrounding area) and he and we need your help! This film won't JUST be made by the industry professionals, it will be made by all of you. With your donation, you'll be part of the production team. Welcome aboard!

Every penny we collect from your generous crowdfunding contribution will be spent "in front" of the camera, which means the making of the actual movie. It will go to rent top of the line camera and lighting equipment, help provide lodging for our actors and crew (who you will recognize from films like Pulp Fiction, Little Children and any one of the 200 plus TV shows or movies Roebuck has appeared in) and will allow us to feed and hydrate our hardworking army of film making partners! Now that the physical production of the movie is complete, or "in the can" as they say, the remainder of the money will go to the final and, unfortunately, some of the most expensive phases of the film making processes. They are sound design and color timing so that it all looks and sounds as great as the movie we set out to make.
Rest assured that we have some of the most talented people in Hollywood working with us on this movie and it is coming together so beautifully thanks to them and yourselves.
Finally when we are done and complete we would love to be able to share our film in film festivals around the country with the end goal to be getting it into theaters were all who helped can enjoy seeing this lovely movie that we set out to make just a year ago!
We know that the backbone of crowdfunding is really the cool perks and we are on top of that, believe us, we are. We have Producer credits that will move you up the ladder of Show Business faster then you can say ''No crummy Mail room job for me!", Plus there are signed scripts, cast photos, shirts and buttons.
Film making at the independent film budget level is not for the faint of heart! The crew and cast often make big sacrifices to ensure the success of the film. That is certainly the case here, our cast and crew have been overwhelmingly supportive of our story and want to see it made. We want you to know that our hearts are in this. This is a great script, made by industry professionals and a wealth of local volunteers. Your contributions will be put to good use and our hope is that GETTING GRACE will be a celebrated film that everyone who took part can all be proud to be a part of.
