I’m an up-and-coming DJ in South Florida, originally from the US Virgin Islands, and I’m asking for help getting my equipment back in working shape. Everything I’ve used to build my path in music has been refurbished or used, and right now I’m dealing with two MacBook Pros that are both in bad shape. 
 
 
 At this point in my journey, my goal is simple: to get at least one of my laptops repaired and back to a reliable working condition so I can continue creating, preparing for gigs, and serving my clients. My equipment is a major part of what allows me to do what I love, but the damage to my laptops has brought much of my content creation to a standstill. Without dependable equipment, I’ve had to turn down opportunities, create less content, and miss out on gigs that could have helped me keep building momentum. 
 
 
 Beyond the financial impact, this has also been difficult personally. It has been discouraging to feel like something I’ve worked so hard to build has suddenly been put on hold. Even with that setback, I’m still trying to keep moving forward in something I care deeply about. 
 
 
 The funds from this fundraiser will go toward repairing at least one of my laptops so I can get back to making mixes, producing content, preparing for performances, and taking on client work. People have continued to ask when new content is coming because they genuinely enjoy what I create, and that support means more to me than I can put into words. 
 
 
 I’m asking for help now because I want the opportunity to get back on my feet, rebuild my momentum, and continue working toward bigger opportunities, including the possibility of being seen and performing at Miami Carnival this year. If you’re able to donate, no matter the amount, it would genuinely help me take another step forward.
