My name is Louis and I have been given the most amazing opportunity to go to Kenya in the summer of 2020!
This is a 4week expedition, whilst there we will helping the communities we visit, maybe building schools or houses.
Working alongside Camp International, every project they start, they complete.
I am Fundraising to achieve this fantastic opportunity which will be developing my skills for life.
Whilst on expedition I will be using communication skills, demonstrating my ability to work as part of a team and problem solving as well as adapting to change as we move around the country and undertake a wide range of new activities.
Of course there will be time for adventure as we will head off on safari and see some of the most incredible wildlife, scenery and beaches.
We will also be mastering the fundamentals of Scuba Diving, learning about the equipment and different diving techniques in a confined area before undertaking a series of open water dives, surrounded by marine life, whilst undertaking my PADI open Water Dive Course.
We will also get time to unwind and reflect on this life changing experience, recounting stories of our encounters with fellow travellers, challenge the local children to a sports match or delight in the local markets with a spot of retail therapy.
I am super excited about this opportunity and all it has to offer me, I would love for this to be possible so I am setting up this page whilst I embark on my fundraising journey to make this possible.
