Getting Debbie Healthy Again

Donation protected
It all started a few months ago with a hand that had gone numb.  That numb hand then progressed to hip pain that would even require crutches to walk around, a "Parkinson's-like" shaking to her other hand, and eventually such severe breast pain that it would wake her up in the middle of the night.  It seemed like my mom went from being the Ultimate Wonder Woman who could workout at the gym before sunrise and then come home to take care of my 3 kiddos and 1 nephew each day to someone who could barely get out of bed on her own.

What the hell was wrong with my mom?  Fortunately, God had placed someone in my life months ago who would lead me to the answers that I was searching for.  You see, this particular person had struggled with a lot of the same symptoms that my mom was experiencing.  She discovered that her breast implants were actually making her sick.  And low and behold, after an ultrasound and some bloodwork, it was confirmed that both of my mom's implants are leaking, one is actually ruptured, and are making her body toxic.  She has to have these implants removed ASAP or else her doctor has predicted that she will be bound to a wheelchair within a year.  And so her explant surgery is scheduled for Friday the 15th of this month.

Herin lies the dilema.  Insurance companies will only pay for breast explant surgery if the woman has already developed breast cancer.  So while my mom is basically in a pre-cancerous state with terrible symptoms, her insurance company will forgo "unnecessary expenses" until medical testing can prove that it is life threatening.

It has not been exactly easy for my parents since the housing market crash of 2008.  Because of this paired with the legalities of the insurance policy, my parents have taken out a loan in order to cover my mom's upcoming medical expenses...something that nobody should have to do.  The procedure itself if going to cost around $12,000, and then there will be all of the costs for supplements to better efficiantly remove the toxins from her body that are causing all of her debilitating symptoms.

Most of you know my mom and know that she has a heart of gold and would do absolutley everything in her power to help someone else.  She is also famous for keeping things to herself and not asking for help, no matter how badly she needs it.  So, as her daughter, I am asking on her behalf.  Any bit of money that we can raise to help pay off these medical bills in order to relieve some of the burden I know she is carrying with having to borrow such a large amount of money would be just the greatest birthday/Christmas gift we could give the most selfless woman I know.

Thank you all in advance and Merry Christmas!
