<div>This summer, I had the incredible opportunity to volunteer in Kurland Village, a poverty-stricken township in South Africa. In just two weeks, my life was completely changed. We repainted and restored two playgrounds, expanded one of the soup kitchen gardens, rebuilt and repaired homes in need, served hundreds of meals at local soup kitchens, and supported children with their homework at the community center. We played games with them outside, shared laughter, and listened to stories of strength and survival from the elders of the village.

<div>But what stuck with me most wasn’t just the work we did, it was the people I met. The warmth, the resilience, and sense of community I found in Kurland deeply moved me. I realized quickly that was not a one-time trip for me and that I have to return. It’s something I am truly passionate about and committed to continuing.

<div>I’m raising funds to return to Kurland Village and continue serving in a place that has left a permanent mark on my heart.
