Elizabeth's Fund for Greece
Hey friends!
I have been given a crazy opportunity for this summer. There is an organization called Hellenic Ministries based out of Greece that has many fantastic ministries. One of which is Operation Joshua (OJ), a ministry where the goal is to take the Bible to every household in Greece. The country is divided into sections, and every summer, a week set aside where volunteers from around the world come to pass out Bibles in one section of the country.
I have the privilege of being part of the team that will help set up for OJ. Meaning, I will be working in the office calling applicants, inputting data, creating programs, as well as working outside the office making sure that everything is ready for the week of ministry. This is especially cool for me, because as many of you know I have been searching for where the Lord would use me next. I'm hoping that this time in Greece will be a stepping stone for me as the Lord continues to prepare me for what is next.
While I am in Greece, I will also be participating in a teen camp, helping whereever I can. My goal is to soak up as much hands on experience with Hellenic Ministries as possible while I am there. I want to help anywhere they need it, because they are understaffed, but they have huge dreams.
I do not have the proper funds to go on my own to Greece. So, I'm asking for your help. I will be in Greece for 3 months. I'm asking for $3,600 which will go towards housing, food, transportation, and anything else I might need.
This is a huge leap of faith for me, and I'm hoping that you will be a part of it. As the Lord is pursuing my heart, He is asking for my trust and my obedience in all of this.
