Thanks for taking the time to look at my GOFUNDME!

YO NAMASTE!
Please help send me away to heal and train to help others this summer at Sacred's 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training Costa Rica Intensive

Doing a training where I can just completely dive in and focus has been a big dream of mine, and its much needed epecially in this time in my life. I have already completed a 200+ hour training with Radiant Life Yoga in Minneapolis, but I took some time off after my graduation and have been looking for a great refresher to build my confidence and knowledge so I can begin to teach in my community. Especially within the communities of brown women, in youth programs and in communitites of need, so often we are missing teachers of color and I feel called to jump in.

I have been looking for the perfect opportunity and one of my closest friends sent me this link to train with Bed Stuy based Sacred Yoga, lead by sister / dancer/yogi Stephanie Battle! Anyone who knows me knows this is a dream match for me : )

I plan to offer my voice, my years of holistic and organic lifestyle studies and my love of art/heart/spirit in my classes, and would love to put this in motion, today.

Thank you so much if you can help! Ever dollar counts!

Sacred’s Summer 2015 Costa Rica Intensive teacher training – the Transformation Class.
The Goddess Garden Yoga Teacher Training and Retreat Center is located in the town of Cahuita, a small community in the south of Costa Rica, 40 km south of Puerto Limon. Cahuita National Park is the main attraction here, where you can watch White Faced Monkeys, Howler monkeys, Iguanas and more, just a few steps away from its white sand beach.

Cahuita proudly claims the area’s first permanent Afro-Caribbean settler – a turtle fisherman named William Smith, who moved his family to Punta Cahuita in 1828. Now his descendants, along with those of so many other West Indian immigrants, run the backyard eateries and brightly painted bungalows that hug this idyllic stretch of coast
