Let's Get Brianna To China!!
My name is Brianna A. Turner and I am currently a freshman Psychology major at Howard University in Washington, DC. I am currently a member of Howard University's 3rd class of the Freshman Leadership Academy (FLA.) Members of FLA were selected because of our leadership qualities and potential. Accordingly, we are being trained to become future leaders of America and we are also mentored by leaders in business, student government and the academic arena.
This summer I will be traveling to China with the FLA. I am very excited to return to the Far East. As a member of this academy, I've had the privilege of being mentored by a current student leader, attend multiple workshops on leadership to cultivate my leadership skills, complete community service activities, as well as case study assignments. Soon we will embark upon our trip to China and I need your help. If you recall, I also went to China in the summer of 2011 and traveling to China is very, very expensive.
