Get Allee to Cali for Draper U

This is my scholarship application video to Draper University in San Mateo, California answering the question "Why are you a hero?" I applied to Draper last December, never guessing I would be accepted to the entrepreneurial program. To my surprise, I was, which brought along another hurdle: paying for it. I have gone back and forth for months, trying to be realistic and thoughtful, but also recognizing the dream that had been put on my heart. For that reason, in a last attempt to make this dream God has put on my heart a reality, I am starting a GoFundMe. 

I have been disappointed over and over in trying to find resources, a community, and funding to take a business off the ground as a young woman. I not only want to go to Draper for all of the resources and understanding it will provide, but also bring what I learn back to others who have encountered the same roadblocks I have.

I believe you can make a difference from anywhere - no matter who you are or what your background is. I want others to be empowered to chase their dreams and create the world they wish to see. I have until September 10th to raise the final 9,000 dollars. Anything from an encouraging word to a dollar is an amazing contribution on this journey of mine. 

Thank you for always believing in my dreams! No matter if I raise the money or not, I am blessed to live in a world surrounded by others who take chances on believing in a girl like me. I know dreams like this are worth fighting for. Cheers to the future!
