Hello, my name is Melissa, and my husband is Dave. We got married in January of 2018. Since that time we have really had a lot of struggles. Don't think, I'm completely unaware that there are far worse people out there struggling than us, and have it so much worse then I and even imagine, but we are having a hard time,
When were married, Dave moved into my tiny house, I've owned for 11 years. He lost his job great paying job after working there 7 years. I then had to be off work for 8 weeks because I had carpal tunnel surgeries on both hands. This was a very stressful time for us.
So, I finally heal, get back to work, and we are filled with joy because Dave got a new great paying job. Things were looking up. We had bought a bigger house that needed some work, but now Alex could live with us full time, Unfortunately, things really took a turn for the worse around this time. My husband blew out his disc at work, holding up a guard. This was December 2018, and here we are almost 2 years later with nothing resolved, Now because of all of the delays from worker comp, he has permanent damage for life, and we are STILL waiting on his surgery to be scheduled. and things are still unpacked and not finished because he's been hurt for almost 2 years, so the house is still mess,
As if this weren't enough, He's also some cancer scares and has to have new scans every 6 months. I was recently diagnosed with Borderline Personality disorder a year ago and depression and anxiety. And now the kicker....I'm off of work now and I have possible torn meniscus, so I will probably need surgery and be out off work for a few moths. At this point, I'm not quite sure how we are going to make ends meet, with one of us on workers comp, and now me on medical leave making less then half of what I would, I usually bring home. I've never been one to ask for hep, but at this moment I'm a little worried. I HATE not having control I'm A control freak and a planner.. Any help would be gratefully appreciated.
