On Nov 4th in Newtown VA, Cody got in an accident in his racing four wheeler. After the ambulance arrived they determined that he needed to be taken in the helicopter to the nearest trauma center which is in Richmond VA. He has suffered 4 broken ribs, a broken thumb, and his leg being cut wide open.
He has been through surgery to put a plate and pins in his thumb and to clean out his leg and stitch it back up.
We will likely not be leaving the hospital until Monday or Tuesday and Cody has a long recovery ahead of him. These injuries will keep him from being able to perform his job for a little while (although he is very hopeful that he will make it back to work very quickly).
