Shallinah's surgery for swamp cancer

Shallinah, my 'little red mare' needs your help to battle swamp cancer (Pythium Insidiosum).
All past surgery, medicine and treatments have failed and the cancer on her left pastern (lower leg) is now progressing rapidly up her leg. Shell's whole leg is now swollen and she can't walk. A new vet will tomorrow perform what is Shell's last hope - he will remove affected tissue and inject amphotericin B and dimethylsulfoxide into the leg in hope to kill the swamp cancer.
This has proven affective however I just hope it isn't too late.
Ongoing treatment and overnights in the vet hospital stables with more medication and care will come at a large cost :(

For anyone that doesn't know what swamp cancer (Pythium Insidiosum) is, it is not a bacteria nor is it a fungus but more like a living organism contracted by a tiny cut that grows and spreads leisions and can kill if untreated.

Shallinah is my best friend. I have had her since she was 2 (I was only 9) and now she is 25. This horse has seen me through some of the hardest times in my life and when I would take her out for a ride she would take away all my burden. Now I want to help take away her burden.
