Get Well Juan Jo

Donation protected
On March 19th Juan Jose Ochoa had serious convulsions while at work. This led to an emergency room visit where a brain tumor was found.  The ensuing emergency surgery to remove the tumor was successful in that Juan Jo survived and the tumor was removed. However, Juan Jo suffered a severe hemorrhage and had to be rushed back into surgery. Following this surgery, Juan Jo was left in a coma.

After a week in a coma Juan Jo began to miraculously show signs of improvement, beggining with him being able to squeeze his wife Maria's hand during her short twice a day visits with him.

He has since been improving and has been moved to his home where a recovery room is being prepared for him. He will be with his family where he will begin the long and uncertain challenge of physical rehabilitation.

Juan Jo can still not talk nor open his eyes. He is responsive to sounds despite being unable to move his body in any way.

Juan Jo's very loving family will be with him at home and will be an important part of his recuperation.

Having said that, JuanJo and his family will be facing some heavy resource needs through this process as the family pulls together to support JuanJo's recovery.

It is for this reason that we are raising money to help Juan Jo and his family through what we all hope and prey will be a successful full recovery process over the next year.

As one of the finest human beings I have ever met, Juan Jo is has and continues to be an inspiration to me.

An incredibly invested and caring father of four; husband; social entrepreneur and friend - he needs and deserves every bit of our love and positive thoughts we can spare him at this time.
