Get Toby an MRI and investigations for a diagnosis

Donation protected
We rehomed Toby in November with his brother JaffaCake when they were 9 weeks old. Both were happy and healthy boys. In March Toby developed a slight limp in his rear back legs. I tried to get him seen at vets but was refused an appointment due to COVID and the fact he was eating and drinking. I finally got him seen in July and he was diagnosed with swimmers syndrome. In October Tobys symptoms had got worse- not only was he having real trouble walking- he could no longer close his mouth and dribbled all the time. Another trip to the vet and we were referred to a neurologist. The neurologist was amazing and wanted to complete a full work up including an MRI. Tobys insurance are refusing to cover an MRI to find out what is causing his neurological symptoms due to how long it took us to get him seen.I have lodged a complaint with the financial ombudsman but this can take 8 weeks for a response and I’m worried he doesn’t have that long. He’s only 14 months old and deserves a change to get a diagnosis! We’re trying cover the cost of an MRI to get some answers. If the financial ombudsman overturn the insurers decision- I will happily refund anyone who donates their money. Thank you.
