Trying To See My Brother Once More
This has caught me in such a way I've never expected it to. As a military wife, I understood the chances of surviving a deployment were never the same.... I just never actually thought this would happen... I've lost a best friend who I called my brother, my husband has lost his best friend, my best friend lost her husband, and her 2 boys lost their father. Etienne Jules Murphy.... He was 22 and got deployed just a little over a week ago... Right before memorial day. This is harder than I ever imagined it to be.
