My name is Carter, i'm 27 and I'm a trans guy. I've been with the GIC for around 5 years and have only had 1 appointment so far. At this point I have no idea when I'd be able to get surgery, especially with Boris making it even harder for trans/nb people. I really cannot wait another 5 years for surgery/hormones. If you're reading this and have gender dysphoria too then you'll understand how much it effects your mental health. I want to go on hormone replacement therapy but the initial consultation alone is £300 and £100 for every follow up appointment. Unfortunately top surgery can cost anything between 6k-8k. Which is why I need your help! Medically transitioning would change my life and make me feel so much more comfortable in so many ways. I'll feel like me. It's a really difficult time for everyone atm financially but if you can afford to donate, it would mean so much to me! if you can't PLEASE SHARE THIS LINK!!!P.S I set the goal at £8000 as it's an average for surgery but I will be saving as much I can myself to put towards it at the same time.
