<div>I, Amelia Thomas have been selected for the England Senior Female team, competing in Group A, as a goalkeeper, due to our success at the European Championships in December 2023. My brother, Jack Thomas, has been selected to represent England in the Senior Male team, as a goalkeeper, competing in Group B for his England debut.

<div>For the people that know us, you will know that roller hockey is a huge part of our lives, and has had such a great impact on the people we are today. It is not a normal thing to be given the opportunity to play in the same competition as your sibling, and for this we are very grateful and cannot wait.

<div>Throughout our hockey careers, we have always played for the same clubs and even the same teams until this season, when I was given the opportunity to live and play in Portugal. Through its challenges and learning opportunities, it has been an incredible experience which I will be continuing next season. As for Jack in this time period, him and his team at RHC Invicta have won the SECRHA Senior League and Cup and also placed 4th in the Premier League, where in the season before they placed 10th.
