Get Team Peacemakers to Camp Sunshine

I'll level with you - this isn't the story of a family hard on their luck. It's not a fundraiser for final expenses after a death in the family. It isn't a hand up to someone who lost their job. It isn't even a fundraiser to send two privileged white "Instagram Celebrities" on a vacation from their work- and stress-free existence. (Seriously - Google that last one. It'll blow your mind.)

On the face of it, it looks like a fundraiser to help a couple who has good jobs make a road trip across the country. WHAT THE HELL? WHY WOULD I GIVE MONEY TO THIS?!

Well, because Dustin and his wife are Team Peacemakers, veterans of a phenomenon hosted by an organization called Rally North America. 85 teams from all over the country commit months of their time to raising money for charitable organizations so they can drive all over rural America seeking out treasures and trinkets long-since forgotten - then do it again the next day until the close of the event.

Team Peacemakers have raised thousands of dollars for Rally North America's causes over the years. This year, they need a little help to get to Camp Sunshine at Sebago Lake  in Maine. $2500 pushes them over the line.

Here's the catch - to make this happen, we need to get to $2500 as soon as our little fundraising legs can carry us. Peacemakers need to be on the road very soon.
