Get Stephanie A Car

This summer during Youthrush (a summer program for Christian youth) Stephanie lent her car to a co-leader to drive home for the weekend. Unfortunately the co-leader didn't realize she had been driving half an hour with the emergency brake on until the car lit up in flames. Luckily the girl was able to pull over and get out of the car before anything more serious happened. The police and fire engine came to try and save the car, but it was too late- the engine was destroyed.
Unfortunately her insurance won't cover it because she only had liability, and the girl who drove it is unable to pay the large amount to replace it.
Stephanie Vargas is a SoulsWest graduate (and my bestfriend) and has been a part of youthrush for the last 4 summers; teaching young people about Jesus, mentoring them, as well as training young people to do outreach for God. During the year Stephanie is a college student studying Social work. She also works for the Visalia Bilingual SDA Church as a Bible worker where she gives Bible studies and works with the church to lead out evangelistic events. Not having a car has really hindered Stephanie's impact on evangelism due to the lack of transportation. Without having a car it makes it difficult for her to go from house to house to give Bible studies as well as back and forth from college. Church family, friends and anyone reading this my appeal is simple: donate whatever you can. Not only will you be helping out a college student, but a missionary for the Lord's work. The $5,500 will help us pay for a used car, registration, and what was lost in the fire. The goal seems overwhelmingly big but even if each of my facebook friends donated JUST $10 we'd hit our goal.
