I’m raising $4,000 (+ $200 for Gofundme fees) to repair the head gasket on my 2012 Toyota Tacoma. It’s my main way of getting safely to work, picking up supplies, and getting around LA. Right now the truck’s down, and without it, things have been really tough — all public transit just doesn’t reach the areas I need to travel for work and errands, especially after dark, and ubers/lyfts add up fast.

This isn’t about upgrades or extras — just getting my reliable truck back in motion so I can keep up with my commitments and stay stable. The repair quote from my mechanic and comparable ones in the area came in at around $4K total, including parts and labor. Once it’s fixed, the truck should run solid for years.
