Get Sam Back his Piano!

On a very normal Thursday evening, much like any other evening, someone very selfish and audacious decided to go ahead and smash our beloved Sam's car window and snatch his performance keyboard. Many of you who are on Sam's improv teams that he Music Directs will have seen this keyboard in perhaps hundreds of performances. To a regularly gigging musician, as Sam is, your instrument is your life partner, and someone was inconsiderate enough to go ahead and steal that from him.

Many of you know Sam Johnides. Not only is he an incredibly talented musician, songwriter, and accompanist, but he is a hard-working man who uses his keys to bring sonic entertainment to hundreds of ears on a weekly basis. Many of his friends and fellow artists have expressed a desire to show their appreciation, gratitude, and love for him by means of financial support in order that he can purchase a keyboard comparable to the one he used for his regular performance gigs and get back to bringing his mind-boggling arpeggios back into our lives! Many musician friends have been kind enough to offer their keyboards temporarily, but of course no musician feels complete without their own keys under their fingers, so let's show Sam our support! Let's turn that thief's selfishness into a big show of our appreciation and generosity!

If you aren't in a financial position to share even a few dollars, then please tell others who know and care about our friend about his misfortune so that we can put a little warmth back in his heart!

The funds raised will go directly toward providing Sam with an instrument he can use for his regular performance gigs. Anything raised over the goal amount (which is how much he spent on the stolen keyboard when he originally purchased it) will go towards funding any other musical equipment needs he has in order to keep providing all of us with great tunes!
