Get Sam and Shani home

Friday update:
The packing has been removed from Shani's nose but the plaster remains on. Her nose has started bleeding so will require them to wait longer until the bleeding has stopped and the swelling goes down before the doctor considers clearing her to fly as her nose could collapse under pressure.

The orthopedic surgeon has advised that Shani's pelvis is good enough to be able to fly in business class with Sam as an escort to assist her.

No further news about the bleeding on Shani's brain, they will continue to monitor further, but it is believed to have stopped.

At this point in time a medivac flight may not be required, but further updates will be provided as the situation changes.

We are deeply humbled by everyone's generosity and support, sending you all long distance hugs and kisses XOXO

------------------------------------------------
A surprise holiday for Shani's birthday has ended in a disastrous motorbike crash.
Shani has bleeding on the brain, a broken pelvis, broken nose and severe lacerations to her face, mouth and body.
Unfortunately this isn't covered under insurance, and they are now stuck in Thailand with large medical bills.
Shani's two beautiful little boys just want their Mummy and Sam back home. Estimated cost to medivac them home is 80k but if they cannot be transferred on an air ambulance they will have to wait for clearance of the doctor's to fly commercially, which could be weeks. Leaving them with no money for accommodation, food an medications.

Please if you can help in anyway it would be greatly appreciated.
Shani and Sam just want to be home in Australia with their little ones, friends an family

Update: Shani was slipping in and out of consciousness last night so an extra brain scan was completed, which revealed no new bleeding on the brain.
Her pelvis is confirmed to be cracked, but should not require surgery.

This has lowered her classification enough that a medivac flight home should not be necessary, however it's still not known how long it will take to get clearance to fly.
Currently the medical bills for both Sam and Shani are at over $14,000, and will continue to rise while Shani remains in hospital.

The out pouring of support we have received has been absolutely positively amazing, and we would like to thankyou from the bottom of our hearts!
We  will continue to update you on any further developments.
